Every other year we add another child to the family...thus another stocking to the batch. The green stocking I crocheted for Johnathan and the pink one for Abigail. This year I am working on Evelyn's stocking. I was hoping to knit a stocking for her (I have been going to a knitting group...learning how to knit). I found that I was able to learn to knit fairly easily...but I am OH SO SLOW at producing anything. It took me a month to complete an odd sized wash cloth (mainly because I rarely had time to work on it). So I figured if Evelyn wanted her stocking before she was 12 I should start crocheting it. I found a pattern for a granny square stocking (it gives it a polka-dotted look). I got half way done and lost interest in it...so between now and next month I must find it within me to finish the stocking! Caroline I think we need another ladies craft night!
